2800 floor lamps – sustainable workplace lighting in offices.

Planning: Ing. Büro Dörflinger, Allendorf

Certifications are becoming increasingly important for office and administrative buildings: a LEED or dgnb certified building can be rented out more easily and quickly, and the increase in value for a sale is immense. Tower 185, a striking office tower directly at the Frankfurt trade fair, has been awarded LEED in gold, while investors around Vivico and architects around Christoph Mäckler attached great importance to, among other things, sustainable building lighting. All 2800 workplaces in the complex are equipped with the R-T7 floor lamps. The indirect light is scattered widely onto the ceiling, and a gentle background light results from the reflection of the grid module ceiling. The two parts of the lamp head provide the necessary light for one workstation each - without dazzling the user at the other workstation. The light is properly directed by an expanded metal.
